Announcing Julie Golob, NRA Mom

We here at NRA Family InSights are proud to announce that professional competition shooter (and NRA Mom) Julie Golob will be bringing you a monthly video blog about all of the issues that gun-owning families face. From basic safety, to how to talk to your kids about guns, to storage questions and much more, Julie will be here to discuss all of your questions and concerns.

Julie's been a hunter and shooter since she was very young, and shot her first match at 14. From that point, it was a mere three years before she competed in the United States Practical Shooting Association's (USPSA) National Championships. This led to her becoming part of the Army's prestigious Action Shooting Team, then, later, to becoming Captain of Smith & Wesson's professional shooting team.

Her accomplishments go far beyond the shooting range, however. Julie's been an ambassador for the shooting sports for years, appearing on such shows as Sarah Palin's Amazing America and the History Channel's Top Shot. She's also the loving mother to two young girls, and so can offer a unique perspective for NRA families.

Got a question for Julie? Leave it in the comments section-we'd love to hear from you!
