Video Review: Savage Arms Model 110 Storm Featuring AccuFit

The engineers at Savage Arms have been on to something big for 15 years now: Allow the end user to easily modify their bolt-action rifles, and world-class accuracy will follow. Since 2003, Savage has offered its revolutionary AccuTrigger, which is a user-adjustable trigger that allows the shooter to determine how much pull weight he or she wants. Now, Savage is offering a selection of bolt-action rifles with their new AccuFit system, which allows the user to quickly, easily change both the length of pull (LOP) and the height of the comb.

What makes that such a big boon to new shooters, particularly women, is that the height of the comb often needs to be higher to accommodate the more pronounced cheekbones and proportionally longer necks that many women have when compared to men. Being able to quickly and easily adjust your Savage rifle with the AccuFit system means that the gun can be modified to perfectly fit just about everyone in your family in a matter of minutes, using only a Phillips-head screwdriver and the (included) screws. As American Hunter's J. Scott Olmsted explains in this video review of Savage's new Model 110 Storm featuring AccuFit, Savage's tradition of offering custom-shop accuracy at a factory price continues...and that's a philosophy that's right on target.
