Just about two years ago, we here at NRA Family were taken by the story of young competitive shooter Cheyenne Dalton, who at the time was just 15 years old and already taking the competitive shooting world by storm. (Check out this article by contributor Barbara Baird, and you'll see that Cheyenne was clearly destined for great things.) We're proud to say that we called it, and excited to congratulate Cheyenne on her new sponsor, Lyman Products. It's actually a wonderful synergy, blending 140+ years of experience on Lyman's side and the youthful energy of Generation Z on the other.

Dalton, who has been shooting competitively for six years, said her main goal is to introduce as many women and girls as she can to shooting sports--a commitment that was already evident when our reporter caught up with her two years ago. Lyman is honored to contribute to her goals of inspiring women to join the shooting sports community. And who better to mentor new female shooters? She's a two-time Ladies Limited Rimfire World Champion, a one-time Junior Limited Rimfire World Champion, a Wyoming state games gold medalist in rimfire and a High Lady Alabama state Rimfire Champion. Dalton will join the shooting team at Missouri Valley College in the Fall of 2019.

If the Lyman name isn't ringing any bells for you, that may be because you know them under some of their subsidiaries: In addition to the reloading kits, presses and dies for reloaders that are sold under the Lyman name, the company also includes Pachmayr, TacStar, Trius Traps, A-Zoom Precision Snap Caps, Butch’s Gun Care and Targdots.
