If you've been a competitive pistol shooter for a while, you know about the Bianchi Cup. If you're new to the scene, the thing to know is that the Bianchi is one of the most elite pistol championships out there. Run by the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP), it's the second-longest-running pistol championship in the world. Mark your calendars for this year's Bianchi Cup International Pistol Tournament, set to fire May 21-24 at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Hallsville, Missouri. The competition will feature over $30,000 in giveaways and prizes--including a unique, beautifully designed revolver, awarded to the 21st overall competitor.
The 2024 CMP Bianchi Cup is comprised of four events: Practical, Barricade, Falling Plate and Moving Target. For the first time, the Bianchi Cup will also include a Rimfire Division to encourage participation from juniors and adults who want to warm up for the Bianchi Cup in a less expensive manner, or those who are newcomers to the event. Additionally, Provisional Divisions for Production and Production Optics have been added (with current Production and Production Optics divisions remaining unchanged).
Our friends at the CMP wish to emphasize that time is running out for the pistol and ammo raffle! They will be raffling off a 1911 pistol and 20, 500-round bricks of pistol .22 ammo at the Bianchi Cup Mixer, held on Wednesday of the event. Those who register by May 1, 2024, will be entered into the raffle for a chance to win these great prizes!Learn more about the 2024 CMP Bianchi Cup and register today at http://thecmp.org/bianchicup/.
