CCW Minute: Reloading Your Defensive Semi-Auto

Filmed using a remote camera, we demonstrate how to quickly reload your pistol in a defensive situation.

First and foremost, a note on production: This CCW Minute was filmed using a remote camera, mounted on a tripod, in accordance with the NRA Rules of Gun Safety: ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

The statistics say that the overwhelming majority of concealed-carriers will never need more ammunition than they already had loaded in their defensive firearm. Trouble is, sometimes real life doesn't know (or care) what the statistics say. If you're one of the rare unlucky people who does need to reload in the course of a defensive situation, it's best if you know how to do it quickly.

In this terrific brief video from Shooting Illustrated's Kevin Creighton, he'll show you how to get your defensive semi-automatic pistol back into action as quickly as possible.
