Walther has just announced the release of its new-for-2024 Walther PDP Pro-E, a 9mm semi-automatic pistol that bridges the gap between the standard PDP and PDP Pro models. The PDP Pro-E, a unique, hybrid model of handgun, combines precision, handling and adaptability in a single package.

The PDP Pro-E achieves its accuracy and control via a secure grip. That's achieved two ways; first, through a performance-duty texturing that maintains the shooter/gun interface in any conditions, even in wet weather or while sweating. A polymer magazine extension provides enhanced handling and speed for those with larger hands (while boosting capacity). Smooth magazine changes are part of the package with the PDP Pro-E's aluminum magwell.

Of course, the "Pro" in the PDP Pro-E name means that the firearm comes ready for optics. Additionally, there's a polymer flat-faced trigger with a polymer trigger shoe for a consistent and crisp break with each trigger squeeze, enhancing accuracy and control for precise shot placement.

"With the PDP Pro-E, we've successfully bridged the gap in performance between our standard PDP and the high-performance PDP Pro SD. It's a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation and providing the ultimate shooting experience,” said Jens Krogh, vice president of marketing and product development for Walther Arms, Inc. “This firearm represents a new era of precision, customization, and performance that brings enthusiasts and professionals closer to the pinnacle of handgun technology. At Walther, we're dedicated to closing the performance divide, and the Pro-E is a shining example of this mission." WaltherArms.com
