Friends of NRA: Supporting the Future of Our Shooting Sports

NRA EVP & CEO Doug Hamlin explains how spending time and making friends with fellow 2A supporters helps ensure the future!

In the last 33 years, Friends of NRA has raised over $1.1 billion dollars (yes, that's billion with a "b"!) to fund youth education, firearms safety, and shooting sports programs. The way it works is that half of the proceeds from each fundraising event go to support programs in the state in which the fundraiser took place, with the rest going to national initiatives. These events aren't just a way to help out your local shooting sports teams and facilities; they're a great way to spend time with like-minded people and make new friends in the Second Amendment community!

Friends of NRA events are held all over the country throughout the month, so if you go to www.FriendsOfNRA.org and click on the "events" tab, you can find one near you happening soon. We hope to see you there!
