Gun Enthusiasts Find Out Sex of Baby Using Colored Chalk and AR15

There are many different ways to announce the sex or mere presence of an unborn child. Some people use balloons to reveal the sex of their baby. Others use their pets and video editing abilities to make goofy videos announcing the gender to friends and family. A more common way to make the announcement is with a cake that has the gender color inside. In our own office, a coworker announced the sex of her baby with cupcakes, and in one of the cupcakes was a blue-colored center. All of these are adorably festive, but not to be outdone by a gun enthusiast. Just like with the ALS Ice bucket challenge, safely utilizing firearms for a fun video is guaranteed to blow the competition out of the water (pun intended).

Gun enthusiasts, however, take baby announcements to a whole new-and very epic-level. In the video below Jesse Clanton and his wife are about to find out the sex of their baby. Only Jesse's sister-in-law knows, and has set up a colored chalk shooting target for him, which upon impact will explode-announcing the gender of the new baby in a thunderously exciting way. The couple already has two daughters, and expected a third. Watch the video to see their reactions.
