I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot range model air rifle!
If you’re like every American of the last three generations (and many more to come), watching the 1983 holiday classic A Christmas Story is a treasured family holiday tradition. What you may not know is that at the time that movie was filmed there wasn’t any such thing as a Daisy Red Ryder range rifle with a compass and “that thing that tells time” in the stock. Daisy actually built one for use in the movie, though, and since then it has resided in the Daisy Museum in Rogers, Arkansas, where the venerable BB gun manufacturer makes its home.
In honor of young Ralphie’s dream gift, the Daisy Museum launched a new, numbered, collectible, limited-edition BB gun that is sure to be a favorite of not just collectors but the general public: the 35th Anniversary edition of Daisy's "Christmas Dream" Red Ryder BB gun. (And, yes, it has the compass inset, a sundial and the famous Red Ryder logo on the stock.)
Although “Christmas dreams” are created in the minds of hopeful children all over the world, this particular Christmas dream comes straight from Rogers in an unassuming package with retro label. Only 2,500 of these guns will be made, with a unique number of 0001 of 2500 to 2500 of 2500 laser engraved. Only the lowest numbers, up to 1,000 of 2500 will be available from now until Christmas—and there are low numbers still available! It is exclusively available from the Daisy Museum in Rogers, Arkansas (www.daisymuseum.com or (479) 986-6873) for only $69.99.
