Mossberg 940 Pro Turkey Holosun 2024

The Mossberg 940 Pro Turkey just got more professional in 2024! The legendary gas gun has just gained the convenience of a combo with a factory-mounted Holosun HS407K reflex sight. This 18.5" 940 is a full-featured, dedicated turkey shotgun is designed for the hardcore hunter ... and it's ready to take afield right out of the box with its premium features, finishes and full-camo coverage.

It's easy to give that Holosun top billing, seeing as how it's located on top of the receiver, but the core of the 940 Pro is a gas system that may run up to 1,500 rounds before cleaning. Yes, you read that right. It's also more than willing to cycle factory-manufactured 2.75" or 3" ammunition, 1 1/8 oz or greater. Internal parts (gas piston, magazine tube, hammer and sear) feature nickel boron-coating and extra finishing for corrosion resistance and reliable performance.

Now for the optic! The Holosun HS407K micro dot sight is mounted directly into the patent-pending optic cut on the receiver. This open reflex sight has a 6 MOA Dot reticle; 12 brightness levels; unlimited eye relief; convenient battery tray; Shake Awake feature; and up to 50,000 hours battery life. And to enhance concealment, the sight features an olive drab green finish.

This compact 12-gauge has an 18.5-inch vent rib barrel, features a HIVIZ CompSight front fiber optic sight, and comes equipped with a ported X-Factor XX-Full choke tube (fully compatible with other AccuChoke tubes; sold separately). The Holosun HS407K micro dot sight is mounted directly to the optic in the receiver. And rounding out this 940 Pro Turkey is aggressive Mossberg signature texturing on the synthetic stock and forend; full camo coverage; sling swivel studs; drilled and tapped receiver; and top-mounted safety for ease of use by right or left-handed shooters.

Performance-driven features include oversized, beveled loading port with redesigned elevator and shell catch to allow for efficient and pinch-free loading into the magazine tube; barrel-making process to maintain point-of-aim and impact; slim-profile forend and self-draining stock that is user-configurable for length-of-pull (13"–14.25"), drop and cast; and oversized charging handle and paddle-style bolt release for ease of operation.

Adding to the 940 Pro’s concealment is full coverage with Mossy Oak Greenleaf camouflage. This versatile Greenleaf pattern provides silhouette concealment with its blend of dirt, bark, moss, and oak sapling elements and blends in naturally with most terrains. MSRP: $1,406; Mossberg.com.
