It's official: Tactical lever-action rifles are no longer a curiosity, but a must-have in any lever-gun manufacturer's lineup. For 2024, Rossi's updating its popular line of R92 lever guns with its new Rio Bravo Tactical. It's available in .22LR and three stylish color options (Black, Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green) synthetic stocks, so you can choose your preferred aesthetic.

What makes it tactical? Equipped with a Picatinny rail, the Rio Bravo Tactical offers enhanced versatility for accessory attachments, so you can customize your rifle. It also comes equipped with accessory mounting slots on the forend, for additional aftermarket accessories (should you wish). The low profile 3/8 dovetail mount provides additional options for optic attachments, enhancing the rifle's adaptability.

The rifle also features a threaded barrel, facilitating the easy attachment of suppressors for reduced noise and enhanced shooting comfort. It also comes with a cross-bolt safety.

With an ergonomically designed synthetic stock, the Rio Bravo Tactical ensures a comfortable shooting experience for users of all experience levels. The stock and forehand of the rifle feature textured zones, providing users with a secure and comfortable grip. The medium loop lever, wrapped in paracord, not only adds a unique touch to the rifle's design but also enhances grip and handling. (And, in an emergency, that paracord might just come in handy.) Finally, the Rio Bravo Tactical also includes sling mounts for easy carrying and transport.

With a barrel length of 16.5" and an overall length of 34.5", the Rio Bravo weighs in at just under 5 lbs (79.7 oz.), for terrific maneuverability. The tube magazine of the Rio Bravo Tactical boasts a 10-round capacity, with a barrel rifled at a 1:16-in RH twist. MSRP $393.99; RossiUSA.com.
