Hunting guide, outfitter, outdoor writer, photographer, videographer, family man and TV personality ... Remi Warren of "Live Wild" is something of a Renaissance man. Today, he's adding a new accolade to the growing list: rifle designer. New for 2024 is the Weatherby Live Wild Edition rifle—a masterpiece born from Remi's wealth of hunting experience and Weatherby's legendary craftsmanship.
“When it comes to partnering with people in the industry, we strive to find those that align with our values in so many respects," said Adam Weatherby. "Remi Warren is a person who I look up to as a hunter, a shooter, a wildlife conservationist and a family man," he continued.
Both Weatherby and Warren understand that there's no need to fix what isn't broken, so don't worry; the historic Mark V action is at the heart of the Live Wild edition. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, this action ensures reliable performance with each shot. The 54-degree bolt lift is efficient and optimal when a quick follow-up shot is needed.
One of the highlights of this new bolt-action rifle is its remarkable weight: just 5.6 lbs. The Live Wild rifle ensures that hunters won't be burdened by unnecessary weight during their treks deep into the backcountry. Available in no fewer than 20 calibers (not a typo), hunters won't have to sacrifice the performance of their favorite load to get into a Live Wild rifle.
One of Warren's must-have features is a crisp and adjustable trigger for precise shooting. Therefore, the Live Wild Edition features a TriggerTech trigger, which allows hunters to customize their trigger pull from 2.5-5 lbs. Enhancing both aesthetics and functionality, the Live Wild Edition sports a spiral fluted barrel and bolt. This design not only reduces weight but also enhances cooling, providing optimal performance in the most demanding situations.
Reflecting Remi Warren's passion for the outdoors, each Live Wild Edition rifle features a hand-painted stock. The unique artwork not only adds a personal touch but also showcases the spirit of adventure and connection with nature. The skeletonized bolt knob adds a touch of elegance to the Live Wild Edition while reducing weight.
A good muzzle brake mitigates recoil and improves the overall shooting experience. If you prefer to hunt with a suppressor, the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and comes with a thread-protecting cap.
The MSRP starts at $1649 and depends on model chosen, and it's available now. Weatherby.com
