Smith & Wesson introduced its M&P FPC (the FPC stands for "Folding Pistol Carbine") last year, and the year 2025 continues S&W's innovative drive with the all-new FPC, chambered in 10mm. This nimble little pistol-caliber carbine starts with an overall length of 30⅜", but a quick flip can fold the gun to a compact length of 16⅜ inches, perfect for storage or carry. The horizontal folding mechanism of the FPC provides a locking latch to ensure secure transport, and prevents interference with most top-mounted optics or accessories.
Speaking of optics and accessories, the M&P FPC is optics-ready and suppressor-ready right out of the box, uses a blowback design, and comes complete with three 15-round double-stack M&P M2.0 pistol magazines. These magazines are stored in the stock for quick, simple reloads. It features an integrated recoil buffer system as well.
The M&P FPC handguard features an upper Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots for accessories, a flat-face trigger with a crisp break, and interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for comfort. It also includes a carrying bag with multiple storage compartments to keep components and accessories organized and secure. In addition to the new standard 10mm model, Smith & Wesson now also offers a "state" compliant version that shares the same feature set, but whose magazines are only 10 rounds.
