New Guns 2025: Traditions NitroBolt Muzzleloader

Designed for use with Federal Ammunition's FireStick ignition system, the NitroBolt is making muzzleloading exciting again.

Traditions is making muzzleloading exciting again with its new-for-2025 NitroBolt, the first bolt-action muzzleloading rifle designed specifically to use Federal Ammunition's FireStick ignition system, so shooters only need to load the projectile. The .50-caliber rifle comes with a base to mount your riflescope, and its barrel is threaded for use with a muzzle brake or suppressor.

With a 24” Chromoly steel fluted-and-tapered barrel with a 1:24” VAPR Twist, the NitroBolt also boasts an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull (LOP). That's a real boon for shooters who aren't "standard sized." But what's really cool is the patented extractor, which ejects the Firestick when the bolt is opened, so there's less fumbling. The bolt can be disassembled in seconds for cleaning.

Additional features include a three-position safety, cocking indicator, pillar bedded stock, and a free-floating pre-threaded barrel for muzzle devices. MSRP $995; TraditionsFirearms.com
