A fortunate group of NRA members and staff was recently afforded the opportunity to step back in time. The opportunity came by way of their attendance at an NRA “NRA 2A Day” event hosted by a classic, family-owned hardware and gun store in Eastern Pennsylvania; none other than A.F. Boyer Hardware & Guns in Slatington! The “NRA 2A Day” event featured a great showing of Second Amendment supporters wanting to learn all that they could about actively defending their rights in Pennsylvania.
A.F. Boyer Hardware & Guns is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated gun and hardware store in the country! It has been in business since 1868 and has been passed down for five generations. They offer a complete selection of hardware, plumbing, electrical, painting and gardening supplies, along with an extensive firearm and ammunition selection. Anything they may not have, they will be more than willing to order, and the staff is always ready to assist their customers.
During the “NRA 2A Day” event, NRA Frontlines Activist Leader (FAL), Jefferey Bortz, was on-site to interact with NRA members and store customers, and to discuss the NRA’s election efforts in the Keystone State. Many of those who stopped by also increased their knowledge about the complex and ever-evolving landscape of firearm regulations in their state, and discovered ways they can be active in protecting their freedoms.
A throwback to a simpler, less complicated, and perhaps more enjoyable time, A. F. Boyer Hardware & Guns displayed a love for serving their local community, and a commitment to the ongoing defense of the Second Amendment. Get ready for more exciting NRA events at this wonderful store in the near future!
