Beloved outdoor TV personalities Lee and Tiffany Lakosky are living the dream, hunting as a family and creating fascinating must-watch TV. Their popular series, the CRUSH with Lee & Tiffany, has captivated audiences for over 15 years with their authentic storytelling, incredible hunting adventures and deep-rooted passion for the outdoors.

The Lakoskys aren't the only ones celebrating a milestone. The Outdoor Channel is celebrating 30 years in the business, too! Reflecting on their most memorable moments while filming the “CRUSH," Tiffany Lakosky shared, "Honestly, the early days of filming each other were some of our most memorable; just the two of us, struggling to get by and make this our full-time job, no social media or fancy equipment. It was a different time back then but certainly helped to shape who we are and our ability to evolve with how things have changed."

The Lakosys agree The Outdoor Channel has had a profound impact on the hunting community. "The shows on Outdoor Channel provide education, inspiratio, and an avenue for companies to promote their products to a target demographic that they would otherwise be unable to reach on such a broad scale. They also create a community; bringing the industry together and connecting with the audience through broadcast, streaming, digital, social media, events, print and more," continued Tiffany.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary is a poignant moment for Lee and Tiffany. "The 30th anniversary is a special milestone because it is a testament to the longevity that hunting and outdoor programming has on audiences of all ages and why passing down the heritage of hunting is so important: to reach and impact new generations of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts,” stated Lee Lakosky.

Looking ahead, Lee and Tiffany envision a future where technology and trends continue to evolve, but the core message of ethical and responsible hunting remains constant. "There is no doubt that the way we consume outdoor content will change with technology and trends but at the core, the message and story will always be about showcasing our right to hunt in an ethical, responsible and enthusiastic way and getting more people out into the outdoors in whatever capacity they choose to enjoy it in,” concluded Lee.

"Through all of the various shows on Outdoor Channel, there is always something that can inspire someone of any age, gender, or skill level to try something new in the outdoors," said Tiffany.

For newcomers in the outdoor broadcasting field, Lee and Tiffany offer sage advice. "Just start. You might not be able to get a hit show on a network overnight, but what you can do to work towards your goal is hone in on your craft, in whatever area that may be. Film and edit your hunts, showcase your photography, write for blogs or publications, create a strong social media or Youtube presence, all while providing value to potential partners you want to work with. Find your niche and what sets you apart from everyone else. Be confident, work hard, be nice to people and, above all, be authentic."

Exciting projects are on the horizon for Lee and Tiffany, with Lee recently returning from a remarkable mountain caribou hunt in the North West Territories, where he shot possibly the largest archery mountain caribou ever taken. And the duo just closed out their elk season in Colorado with each of them harvesting their biggest bulls to date. Fans can look forward to these exciting episodes airing next season on Outdoor Channel.
