One of the best things about SHOT Show is learning a little bit of backstory behind each new product the various manufacturers debut, and one of Crossbreed's hottest new releases was the jumping-off point for that. This cool, versatile new holster is named the Reckoning, but not because we reckon it's a winner. It's because the folks at Crossbreed are big fans of the 1993 classic movie, Tombstone, and a particularly pithy quote courtesy of Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday

The excellent taste in cinema exhibited by Crossbreed's team aside, the Reckoning holster is sure to be your Huckleberry. It's incredibly versatile thanks to a unique and innovative retention device. That device makes it so the Reckoning can be worn either inside or outside the waistband, in any position from the appendix all the way back to the 5 o'clock. Which gun does it fit at this point? A shorter list might be which guns it doesn't: Crossbreed's site lists about 50 here. There are also multiple options for right- or left-hand draw, types of leather and Kydex, and more. (Another point of interest from Crossbreed's site is that they're offering a SHOT Show special with 15 percent off and free shipping...) Click here for more details!
