Video Review: Springfield TRP Operator 10mm Handgun

The folks at Springfield Armory know that Americans want and need top-quality, reliable, safe, accurate firearms at wallet-friendly price ranges, and the Springfield TRP 10mm pistol suits the bill. This 1911-style handgun is chambered in 10mm and available in a 5- or 6-inch barrel length, and weighs in at 45 ounces. Although that might present a bit of a challenge for concealed-carry, it does mean that you can count on a comfortable shooting experience (the gun's weight absorbs recoil) even with the hard-thumping 10mm chambering. As American Hunter's Adam Heggenstaller points out in this video, the barrel length offers exceptional accuracy and the ability to reach out further than a traditional carry gun. This one pistol could therefore work as a trail gun to guard against aggressive critters, a firearm for open carry, home defense...even hunting (where allowed by law)! For many folks, this might represent the perfect "one and done gun." Check out our video for more details!
