The joy and lasting value of this once-in-a-lifetime event is hard to describe ... so we made a highlight reel of the Class of '24!

Last week, we reported that applications are now open for the 2025 NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.). This 37-year NRA tradition has brought hundreds of rising high school juniors and seniors for a once-in-a-lifetime insider's view of America's capital. Tomorrow's defenders of the Second Amendment spend an action-packed week with NRA personnel and chaperons learning, debating, making friends and winning scholarships for college.

Participants meet with NRA leadership, target practice at the NRA Range under close supervision by our expert range safety officers, visit the National Archives, tour D.C.'s monuments and memorials, participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington Natioal Cemetery, watch the famous Marine Barracks "8th & I" Parade, check out D.C.'s amazing Smithsonian museums and so much more! In fact, it's kind of hard to verbally describe just how valuable this event is ... so we've put together a highlights reel!

How to Apply:

Applications for the 2025 Youth Education Summit are now open. Eligible applicants are current high school sophomores and juniors. To apply, students must submit a completed application through our online portal, including their high school transcript, a three-page essay on the Second Amendment, a personal statement, and three letters of recommendation. The application deadline is January 19th, 2025.

Please note, residents of Idaho must first apply to and attend the Idaho State Summit to be eligible for the National Y.E.S. The Idaho application is available on our website under Idaho State Summits.
