One of the best mainstays of the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits happens on Sunday, and it's called the NRA Youth Day! This annual event includes games, indoor BB gun shooting, a wildlife identification challenge (as seen above), prize drawings, a scavenger hunt, and so much more.
Speaking of prizes, NRA's Youth Program Committee was on hand to help award them. The top prize this year was a week-long Youth Shooting class at Gunsite Academy, which may be the world's most famous gun-safety and gun-handling facility. Of course, there was more: Keystone Arms donated two Crickett rifles to give away. In fact, every single youth left with several prizes.
One of the highlights of the event was new: Our NRA Youth Ambassadors held a t-shirt and hat toss. What could be more fun than being a young attendee jumping for the goodies? Watching them have so much fun, of course. Mrs. Arnold from National Success Group / Promotional Solutions agrees, saying, “We have supported your event with our simulator for many years, but this has been the best one. You made it so much fun! To watch the kids' faces light up was priceless."
Of course, none of this would be possible without our treasured volunteers and sponsors! We're offering a big "thank you" to Royal Rangers and Scouting America for running the Nerf range, Daisy BB range, and Sling Shot activity. KelTec sponsored Youth Day this year, making the event wonderful with refreshments throughout the day, finishing up with ice cream at the start of the prize drawing.
Special thanks also go to Dillion Precision, Vista Outdoor (Federal), Daisy, Blue Trail Range, Tuttle Twins, G&G Armament, and NRA Board of Directors member Janet Nyce. We hope to see you and the little ones at NRA Youth Day next year in Houston, Texas, from April 17-19, 2026.
